‘On my own site I will write that I am an architect and that I make furniture, so that they do not ask me: ‘Do you also do other things?’ No. ‘Do you make fabrics?’ No! Because I am not interested in that. I am more interested in exploring the different areas of design through my projects and in some ways doing the heckler in a proactive way. I think there are gratuitous hecklers and others, on the contrary, who can individuate situations that are in need, for example, of a small design response'.
